Camera Setup

The Redmi A5 4G sports an 8MP front camera, upgraded from the 5MP in previous models. However, the rear camera has been downgraded to 32MP from the 50MP sensors found in earlier versions.

Performance

The phone runs on a Unisoc T7250 chipset with 4G connectivity. This processor contains two Cortex-A75 cores at 1.8GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.6GHz, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU running at 850MHz. Performance-wise, it’s similar to the Helio G81 Ultra in the Redmi A3 Pro but weaker than the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 found in the Redmi A4.

The Redmi A5 4G is powered by a 5,200mAh battery with 18W charging support, though the package includes a 15W adapter.
