Design and Display

The iPhone 13 has the same flat edge design as the iPhones from the previous year. The corners are rounded, and the frame is made of aluminum. Likewise, this time around, the front notch is narrower.

Going forward, there isn't much to discuss regarding the display. With all the characteristics of its predecessor, this 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen is brighter. However, Apple should have added 120Hz ProMotion on the non-Pro iPhone 13s as well.

Performance and Memory

The A15 Bionic chipset powers the basic iPhone 13, just like the other models in this generation. With 15 billion transistors, Apple's most recent smartphone silicon is built on TSMC's 5nm production node. Nevertheless, the iPhone 13 lacks the power of its Pro siblings. In contrast to the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max's 5-core GPU, Apple has integrated a 6-core CPU and a 4-core GPU in this model.

Camera

Apple has revised the camera bump on the rear, moving the camera sensors to the diagonal. The primary camera receives a few adjustments, but the ultra-wide camera has not changed.

First of all, it has a larger sensor that can record 47% more light than the previous model. The Pro models from the previous year used the same one. Likewise, the standard iPhone now has sensor-shift optical image stabilization (OIS).
