Design and Audio
The South Korean tech company has finally given up on stemless design and introduced stemmed earbuds this year. However, to stand out from the crowd, Samsung has given the Buds3 Pro an edged stem with “Blade Lights”. Moreover, the charging case features an “Open-type” design with a see-through lid. Moreover, the buds have an IP57 rating and come in an in-ear fitting. The whole thing is available in Silver and White colour options.
In terms of audio, the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with two speaker units including a 10.5mm dynamic driver and a 6.1mm planer. These earbuds come with Samsung Seamless Codec capable of 24bit / 96kHz processing on top of the regular SBC and AAC codecs. They are capable of Adaptive ANC and can let through Ambient Sound with a Voice / Siren Detect feature. Other than that, these buds offer 360 Audio when paired with select Samsung devices.
Features and the rest
Like every other flagship product this year, Samsung has slapped Galaxy AI onto the Galaxy Buds3 Pro as well. It helps out with noise cancellation while also optimising audio output based on your ear shape and wearing habits. Likewise, these buds work especially well when using the Interpreter feature on the latest high-end Galaxy devices. They also provide some Samsung ecosystem benefits like Auto Switch and Auracast.
Furthermore, these buds support touch as well as voice controls to perform different actions. You get the latest Bluetooth v5.4 for wireless connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 has a 53 mAh battery on both earpieces while in the tank you get a 515 mAh unit. With this, you get up to seven and 30 hours of independent and combined playback with ANC turned off. For charging, you go wired with USB Type-C or go wireless.
