This new design also includes a larger vapor chamber for better heat dissipation. The device is lighter, weighing just 239 grams, making it comparable to regular flagships. The Z Fold 6 has earned an IP48 rating, making it more resistant to dust and debris compared to the IPX8 rating of the Fold 5. The outer display is now 6.3 inches diagonally with an aspect ratio of 22.1:9, while the inner 7.6-inch Infinity Flex screen has a 20.9:18 aspect ratio. Both screens feature an adaptive refresh rate from 1-120Hz, with the cover display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 2.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, optimized specifically for Galaxy phones, the Z Fold 6 offers top-tier performance. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB (UFS 4.0). The device runs on One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14, with Samsung promising seven years of OS upgrades.
