Display and Design
The OnePlus Nord 4 features a 6.74-inch Tianma U8+ OLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness of 2150 nits. On the design side, the Nord 4 comes with a refreshing look.
The OnePlus Nord 4 features a straightforward design, which they call the “only metal unibody smartphone on the planet in the 5G era” in a dual-tone rear panel. The smartphone comes in three colorways; the Mercurial Silver features two large camera lenses and a flash in the upper section, while the lower section has a textured finish with diagonal lines. At the same time, other colors remain Obsidian Midnight and Oasis Green.
Performance and Storage
The Nord 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 processor, an upgrade from the Nord 3’s Dimensity 9000. Talking of this processor, it is an Octa-core silicon with one prime Cortex-X4 core at 2.8GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6GHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores at 1.9GHz. To compare, this chipset provides flagship-level performance, having comparable benchmark scores with the last-gen Titan Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and even closer to this year’s 8s Gen 3 processor.
It includes up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. Moreover, the OnePlus Nord 4 also features 0.0179 square meters of cooling technology. The smartphone runs on Android 14. OnePlus promises four major Android updates and six years of security updates.
Camera
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera (LYT600) with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 16MP. Moreover, the OnePlus Nord 4 has an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device has a 5500mAh battery and supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. The Nord 4 includes an IR Blaster, 0809 AAC linear motor, an alert slider as well
