The Redmi Buds 5A are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers. Additionally, they boast Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, capable of reducing environmental noise by up to 25 dB. Environmental noise cancellation for calls and a transparency mode for increased awareness of surroundings are also included.

Design

The earbuds feature an in-ear design with stems and silicon ear tips. While the earbuds themselves are IPX4 certified for water resistance, the carrying case boasts an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust and splashes.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Utilizing Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, the Redmi Buds 5A supports Google Fast Pair for quick device pairing. In addition, it has a latency mode of 60ms available. 

Battery and Charging

Each earbud houses a 34mAh battery, providing up to 5 hours of usage on a single charge. The included 440mAh charging case extends the total battery life to an impressive 30 hours.
