Design and Display

A 6.2-inch 1080p+ LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz is featured in the Galaxy S25. Compared to its predecessor, it is marginally lighter and slimmer. The phone is IP68 rated for water and dust resistant and has an Armor Aluminum frame made of recycled materials.

Performance and Cooling

The proprietary Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which powers the Galaxy S25, offers a 40% faster NPU, a 30% better GPU, and a 37% increase in CPU performance. It has storage choices of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB in addition to 12GB of RAM. For better heat management, the phone also has an enhanced thermal interface material and a 40% larger vapor chamber.

Battery and Charging

The phone's 4,000mAh battery can be charged to 50% capacity in 30 minutes using 25W cable charging. Although it does not support Qi2, it does support 15W Qi wireless charging.

Camera features

A 50MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera are all features of the Galaxy S25. It has a 12MP front camera. The phone has enhanced noise reduction for videos shot in low light and supports 10-bit HDR video recording.

Software and Security

One UI 7, which is based on Android 15, powers the Galaxy S25. Samsung guarantees software and security updates for seven years. The phone has a Personal Data Engine that handles private data locally and post-quantum cryptography for data protection.
