Design and Display

The Galaxy S25+ has a 6.7-inch 1440p+ LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate of 1–120 Hz. For those who want a larger screen, the S25+ offers a larger screen than the 6.2-inch display found on the standard S25. Similar to the S25, the S25+ has an IP68 dust and water resistant rating and an Armor Aluminum frame composed of recycled materials.

Performance and Cooling

The Galaxy S25+, like the S25, is powered by the proprietary Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which provides 40% quicker NPU, 30% greater GPU power, and 37% better CPU performance. 256GB and 512GB of storage are also included, along with 12GB of RAM. The S25+ maintains its coolness even under demanding conditions because to its improved thermal interface material and 40% larger vapor chamber.

Battery and Charging

With a larger 4,900mAh battery, the Galaxy S25+ offers more power than the S25's 4,000mAh. Faster 45W wired charging is also supported by the S25+, enabling a 65% charge in as little as 30 minutes. In contrast, 25W wired charging is supported by the S25. Although neither model supports Qi2, both are capable of 15W Qi wireless charging.

Camera Features

With a 50MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera, the S25+'s camera configuration is the same as that of the Galaxy S25. There is a 12MP front camera on both devices. Like the S25, the Galaxy S25+ has enhanced noise reduction and 10-bit HDR video recording for greater low-light video quality.

Software and Security

The Galaxy S25+ provides the same software experience as the S25, running One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung offers security and software updates for seven years. In addition to the Personal Data Engine, which handles sensitive data on the device itself, the S25+ has post-quantum cryptography for improved data protection.
